Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center

Close to the convention center management was very kind and the staff were extremely helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast that was provided, food was great! Also enjoyed the kitchen in the room being provided with a few essentials to cook and eat with, helped out when we needed them.

The location to the Vernon Center Metro was perfect to start all of our adventures. I loved our little kitchen which allowed us to prepare meals and dinners. I travel with two diabetics and three with celiac disease. Finding meals that won’t make us sick has always been problematic. Homewood is across the street from Safeway so we were able to find food for our needs. It was comforting to have home cooked meals after a long day. Despite being in the middle of the city the location was relatively quiet.

Lovely location in a pretty part of town, exceptionally thoughtful and friendly staff, comfortable and clean. GREAT hot breakfast setup and good coffee all day. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Everything! Room lovely and spacious, beds really comfy, good air con, shower nice and powerful. Staff, especially: Diamond, Ernest and Zanoi on reception, they couldn't do enough for you. And the valet (I can't remember her name, so nice and gave us good tips for Washington). Breakfast, mix of hot and cold, something different everyday from the hot breakfast which was great for variety if you're a few nights.

Breakfast was the only downside. The way the food is laid out is inefficient. The waffle station was very popular but it gummed up the line and we waited nearly half an hour each morning to get everyones breakfast. The waffles should be not in the middle, but on one of the ends, or even where the coffee was (coffee goes somewhere else) Breakfast was stressful for everyone in the room. Not just us. Food choice was fine but was cold. One toaster is not enough for the number of people using the service. People should get their breakfast in one direction only. The center island isn’t utilized properly- the milk is for the cereal but the cereal is across the room, and on I could go. If you fly me back, I will happily help you rearrange the breakfast set up situation. Then everyone will be happy forevermore.
